A Golden Milestone for ASEAN Youth Innovation

In 2025, the ASEAN Virtual Student Opinion Competition (AVISOC) returns for its fifth installment which has stood as a premier competition that challenges university students to express their best opinion on world issues in the form of article or poster, amplifying the voices of young visionaries across Southeast Asia. This year, we uniquely celebrate as part of the 63th anniversary of Universitas Brawijaya (Indonesia). This competition is hosted by the Faculty of Administrative Science and supported by IRO (International Relations Office) Faculty of Administrative Science and IOUB (International Office Universitas Brawijaya).

AVISOC 2025 holds 2 (two) competitions for concerned participants to choose:

1. Opinion Competition

2. Poster Competition

The description of each competition will be provided in the next sections. Select one competition that best suits your interest as one student can only participate in one competition at a time.

Eligible to register as participants are undergraduate/bachelor’s degree/diploma degree students from universities across South East Asian countries. Their active status as student will be acknowledged by attaching a photo of their Student ID during the registration process.

The winners of AVISOC 2025  will receive prize, including international certificate of achievement. Other participants will receive certificate of participation.

The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
